RaceSco MBAlog

This site belongs to Scott Sanders, a 2004 graduate of Cornell University's Johnson School of Management. It chronicles two years in a top MBA program -- academic, career, social, and everything in between. Blogging was a way of sharing the MBA experience with colleagues, friends, family, and others who were interested. Scroll through the posts -- there's more than a few interesting tidbits.

Dave Ross and Enron

Dave Ross is this hilarious commentator who I used to listen to on WTOP Radio in Washington DC. I pulled up his website and found this bit he did on Enron.

It's relevant to the MBAlog because this piece is eerily similar to both the content and style of Professor Libby, my accounting instructor. When people ask him questions about, for example, a questionable accounting practice, he answers as follows: "Sure, you can do that if you want. But what will that get you? [pause] A prison waredrobe."

Listen to Dave Ross's "Fill in the Blanks" (MP3 file, about 1.5 MB).
